Family Therapist – Contracted Position

15 hours per week

An established and respected non-profit charitable community-based organization seeks an experienced counsellor to assist in the provision of assessment and clinical intervention services for children, youth and adults.

Applicants must have a degree in Counselling Psychology, Social Work, or related discipline.  Experience providing one-on-one and group counselling as well as preventive interventions will be an asset.  A strong working understanding of gender-based violence is essential.

 

This is a contracted position for 12 months from date of hire.  This position will be 15 hours a week (opportunity for increased hours if desired), in a small but dynamic agency, governed by a Board of Directors.  Under direct supervision, the successful applicant will be able to offer confidential and client centered counselling services and to work as a member of a team of allied professionals in the interest of the people of our community.
